Managing School Stress and Anxiety Workshop

A 3 hour workshop designed to help teens who are struggling to manage their stress and anxiety related to school. When teens don't recognize the signs of their building stress level or have the coping skills to manage their negative emotions, they can quickly fall behind in school.

The Managing School Stress and Anxiety Workshop is designed to help teens target the stress they feel at school triggered by disorganization, negative self talk, and poor self care. In this workshop, we will cover:

◆ Mastering organization to keep track of assignments
◆ Exploring healthy sleep, nutrition, and exercise habits, and how they impact mood
◆ Practicing coping skills to assist in managing the inevitable stress that will occur in school
◆ Learning to recognize and change unhealthy thinking patterns

This workshop is offered periodically throughout the school year. Please inquire for more information. The material from the workshop can be covered in individual counseling sessions as well.
